To follow the law

It happens a lot when children become teenagers, both with them selves and the environment around them. Now they’ll take one step forward into the world of grown-up. They often feel splited. Sometimes they want to sit with mom or dad, sometimes they know how to manage it all by them selves. By the law they’re not of age until 18. It’s important how we help our children during the difficult age of teenagers.

First, the 15th birthday is a huge step in teenagers life, they can drive moped legal and also feel the freedom. Friends in school envy they who just turned 15. Talk about moped make, trim and acceleration of the speed will start. Mopeds are designed at a speed of 30-45 km/h but it’s the easiest thing in the world to speed up without being clever. What is parents view on the matter? A sufficient number of parents think it’s alright to speed-up the moped, because all the others do that so it doesn’t matter.

Second, night life will begin and it’s exciting. Broken hearts, curiosity of alcohol and drug are any consequences that may arise. Awareness about their attractive will be a big part of the weekday; they’ll have to fit in. Others opinion is important, does she thinks I look grate? The first warm summer evening entice into feeling of solidarity outdoors, where big girls and boys make a great impression. A pinch off snuff or smoke a fag it’s not so bad. Everyone else has tried it before. Some beer or a gulp of liquor don’t any harm either, or?

Although, to know the right later in life they have to try. As a young adult you have to take responsibility for your action. You must learn which way is right and stand for the consequence. It’s now or never you’ll be learning about the world of grown-up. You have to learn by your mistakes and therefore it’s important to try out different ways. We’ll hear a lot of varying alternatives, how our children will have their knowledge. The question is if we help them or knock them over in our reasoning?

Finally, as parents and adults we have a responsibility against our teenagers to help them find and also try the right way. The most important is that we show them where we stand in the questions about mopeds, alcohol, drugs and other important things. It won’t work if we think we have right to stand out the law and let them try illegal things. Sometimes it’s maybe hard to say NO if we drink alcohol, but we can always lean against the law. I’ll think if we are clear in our liability, we give our children a secure attitude and thanks to that a calm and collected adolescence.
